“After having successfully participated in the flight demonstration at the Paris Air Show 2009, where our CAMCOPTER S-100 took part as the first and only UAS in the history of the Le Bourget Aerosalon, we are extremely pleased to be able to present our unmanned helicopter´s qualities to an expert audience,” says Hans Georg Schiebel, CEO of the Schiebel Group.
The CAMCOPTER S-100 is marketed in Germany by Diehl Defence. In the summer of 2008, it successfully completed a three-week test series with the German Navy´s new corvettes K130.
The CAMCOPTER S-100 carries out target and impact reconnaissance. The work share of Diehl BGT Defence as prime contractor comprises the system´s adaptation to German requirements, provision of sensors and logistics as well as integration in the German corvette K130 as well as the army´s reconnaissance troops inventory.
