Jet Aviation Basel Completions Center delivers 4th VVIP aircraft in 2012
Jet Aviation Basel recently delivered a newly completed Airbus ACJ 319 VVIP aircraft to an undisclosed client operating in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). This is the 4th VVIP aircraft delivered by Jet Aviation Basel this year.
Designed by Pegasus Design, the completed cabin interior was finished with exquisite veneer and hardwoods accentuated with top-quality upholstery and leathers found around the globe.
This was particularly challenging given the aircraft's notably high ceilings. To achieve this level of customization and elegance, Jet Aviation engineers worked closely with the customer and the designer to ensure structural and electrical requirements were fully incorporated in the design plans before work commenced in the upholstery, cabinetry and sheet metal shops.
In 2012, Jet Aviation Basel has delivered two newly completed Airbus 340s to undisclosed customers, as well as a 319 CJ aircraft. All three aircraft featured highly customized VVIP interiors. One Airbus 340 was designed by Studio E/motions, the other two aircraft interiors were by Andrew Winch Designs.
