Jet Aviation opens new Fixed Base Operation in Berlin

Jet Aviation opened a new Fixed Base Operation (FBO) facility at Berlin Schönefeld to provide handling services at Schönefeld and Tegel International airports.

The facility includes an operations office, a crew lounge and a VIP passenger lounge.

The company signed an agreement with Acciona Airport Services to support Jet Aviation with ground services and equipment at both airports. Philipp Walter has joined Jet Aviation from Acciona's Berlin operations and will manage the new Berlin FBO operation. The new Berlin FBO is under the direction of Frank Kusserow, Jet Aviation's Director of FBO Services in Germany

"As a major international hub and a common point of entry to central Europe, Berlin is a key location for our customers," said Kusserow. "Many of our customers regularly fly between Berlin, Dusseldorf and our other worldwide FBOs, and they can now benefit from having the same handling provider."
