Lufthansa expands Private Jet service

Lufthansa will expand ist Private Jet brand in exclusive cooperation with NetJets Europe. Bookings in Europe will now be accepted at short notice up to ten hours prior to flight departure.

Moreover, Lufthansa Private Jet is planning to expand in the Middle East and the USA in the course of the year.

Aside from a significantly enhanced product with superior business jets including small, medium and large cabins, Lufthansa Private Jet customers will profit from a new and more transparent pricing policy.

The aircraft available in the service vary in size and range to suit individual requirements. The smallest category includes, for example, the Hawker 400 XP for up to 7 passengers with a maximum range of 2,161 kilometres. The Cessna Citation XLS can transport up to 7 passengers over a range of 3,305 kilometres. The largest type of aircraft, such as the Gulfstream G 550, accommodates 14 passengers and with a range of 11,911 kilometres is suitable for intercontinental routes.

For flights of up to an hour on such routes as Munich-Milan, the Hawker can be booked for a basic price from 5,650 euros. Lufthansa Private Jet flights can be booked either individually for point-to-point flights or for seamless connections with long-haul flights in the global route network operated by Lufthansa and SWISS.
