Lufthansa Technik wins first Q400-customer in North America

Sky Regional Airlines entrusts their component supply for the next ten years to Lufthansa Technik. The companies signed a Total Component Support TCS agreement for the fleet of five Q400 aircraft.

Lufthansa Technik has installed a home base pool in Montreal. More than 110 Line Replaceable Units (LRU) – ranging from hydraulic pumps up to generators - will be in storage for a smooth operation. The components will be overhauled at Lufthansa Technik sites in Sun Valley, USA and Hamburg, Germany.

With the newly won customer Sky Regional Airlines Lufthansa Technik offers Total Component Support for 54 Q400-aircraft worldwide.

Lufthansa Technik is continually expanding its customer base in the regional aircraft market. Its expertise in this sector covers a wide spectrum of MRO and support services for numerous aircraft types including the Bombardier CRJ and Q-Series, as well as the Embraer ERJ and E-170/190-families.
