MTU Aero Engines operation in the U.S. obtains FAA repair station certification

MTU Aero Engines U.S. operation in Appleton, Wisconsin has received the FAA's approval as a certified repair station. With this approval it can offer on-wing services for CF34 engines also to customers in the U.S.

With its team of four employees based in Appleton, Germany's leading engine manufacturer is stepping up its maintenance services, by moving closer to its customers and speeding up response times. Previously, the engine mechanics, along with spares and equipment needed, had to be flown in from MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg in Ludwigsfelde, Germany.
