New chairman of the DFS Supervisory Board
Today Mr Klaus-Dieter Scheurle was elected as the new chairman of the Supervisory Board of DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH.
The 55-year-old jurist began his professional career at the German Federal Ministry of Justice in 1983, before moving to the Bavarian State Ministry for Federal and European Affairs in 1985. After eight years at the Swiss investment bank Credit Suisse and a short spell working as a freelance management consultant, Professor Scheurle became Permanent State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development in 2009. Furthermore, he has been an honorary professor at Munich university, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU), since 2006.
