Pilatus and Falcon Aviation sign agreement on PC-24
While the official opening of the order book will only take place at EBACE 2014, Pilatus has announced that Falcon Aviation Services of Abu Dhabi has decided to enter into a Letter Of Intent thus confirming their strong interest in the newest Pilatus aircraft.
The Letter Of Intent has been signed today during a ceremony in Pilatus’ Chalet at the Dubai Airshow. Signatories of the LOI were H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahayan, Chairman of Falcon Aviation Services, and Jim Roche, Vice President Government Aviation of Pilatus Aircraft Ltd.
The first PC-24 prototype is currently under construction at Pilatus headquarters in Stans, Switzerland, and is scheduled to make its first flight in late 2014. A total of three aircraft will be used in the flight test program.
Certification and first customer deliveries will occur in 2017. Pilatus plans to begin taking orders for the PC-24, and announce key launch customers, at the EBACE convention in Geneva, Switzerland in May 2014.
