Platzeck steps down as Chairman of BER Supervisory Board
Matthias Platzeck, state premier of Brandenburg, has today resigned from his post as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the airport operating company Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH.
Following the company’s bylaws, his deputy, the governing mayor of Berlin Klaus Wowereit, will take over his official functions. This was announced today by the two state premiers at the fringes of a Supervisory Board meeting of the airport operating company. The Board thanked Mr Platzeck for his successful work for the company.
