Airbus sends medical equipment to Hanoi in Vietnam Airlines A321 ferry flight
Last Friday, an Airbus team in Hamburg loaded Vietnam Airlines A321 ferry flight with 3.8 tonnes of medical equipment for dialysis.
The equipment included 12 generators, 2 video screens, catheters, and many appliances and spares donated by the Toulouse, France based hospital Purpan . This equipment will help a Hanoi nephrology hospital to treat patients suffering from chronic kidney failure.
The Airbus Corporate Foundation works in partnership with Non Governmental Organisations regularly using Airbus aircraft to provide aid to countries and communities which have been affected by natural disasters or are in need.
This aircraft is the 17th A321 delivered to Vietnam Airlines, from a total order of 41 of this aircraft type.
