BizJet inducts its Rolls-Royce Tay 611-8C engine for maintenance

BizJet International, Lufthansa Technik's hundred percent US subsidiary based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has inducted its first Rolls-Royce Tay Mk611-8C engines into facility for maintenance.

"We are well underway in achieving a significant services role with the induction of our first two Rolls-Royce Tay 611-8C Midlife inspections and completing the first half of correlating our test cell for the -8C" says Criss Berry, Vice President Engine Services for BizJet.

BizJet will deliver the completed engines to the customer next month.

BizJet is already an authorized overhaul facility for Rolls-Royce Spey Mk511-8, Tay Mk611-8, and Rolls-Royce Tay Mk611-8 engine. BizJet's service portfolio on all engine types includes engine repair, module refurbishment and full overhaul.
