Strong presence of the German aerospace industry at MAKS

The German aerospace industry will present itself at the eleventh Russian Aviation and Space Salon MAKS with 23 companies at a joint 600 m² stand in Hall F3 on the Zhukovsky fairgrounds near Moscow.

The joint presentation has been organized as part of the foreign trade fair program of the Federal Government. The German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI) facilitates and supports the German presentation. Another four BDLI member companies will exhibit their products and services at their own stands.

As one of the world‘s leading suppliers of systems and as innovative partner for the industry, Germany will make its case as a partner for the Russian industry. With the German presence and the joint stand, the BDLI at the same time promotes its own trade show platform, the ILA Berlin Air Show, which next time will be held at the Berlin ExpoCenter Airport from May 20 to 25, 2014.

The continuous presence of German companies at the MAKS trade show and the participation of Russian companies in the ILA bears out the great potential for cooperation between both states. Specifically for medium-sized suppliers and outfitters, it is of great interest to further expand and deepen the longstanding cooperation. The MAKS and the ILA trade show next year provide good opportunities to do so.
