Turnkey surveillance sensor suite now available for the Pilatus PC-6

Airborne Technologies announces their partnership with Pilatus Aircraft, offering a turnkey surveillance suite for the PC-6 Turbo Porter.

The new surveillance kit consists of a camera lift accommodating all types of law enforcement turrets up to 50kg, a spacious sensor operator station and LOS/BLOS downlink capabilities. The Porter equipped with the surveillance suite affords unique opportunities to current helicopter-based operators to access a vastly improved and cost effective platform to carry out missions at very low speed.

At first presentation to a Latin American delegation the surveillance kit in the Porter contained a FLIR/POLYTECH UltraForce 350, a BMS line-of-sight downlink system, a Scotty beyond line-of-sight downlink system and a moving map/flight management system from EUROAVIONICS.
